Okay, so WHO KNEW you could go and watch the Titans at their training camp???Anyway, my fourteen year old son and I went to the Titans' training camp this week, and had an absolute blast photographing. With two big "L" series lenses, we were both able to get good photos. One of those afternoons we won't forget!

very cool photos!! and who knew??? i sure didn't know you could go watch them. my kids would be all over this!
what lenses did you use? i am looking to get a nice L series lens for soccer photos and i am debating between two different ones. if only $$ wasn't an option i could combine the best of both worlds and get the one i love!
For sports, I usually use one of two lenses: a 70-200mm, f/2.8 IS L series lens; or a 100-400mm, f/4.5 IS L lens. If the lighting becomes an issue (e.g. kids' poorly-lit evening soccer games), then I go with the first lens and keep bumping the ISO up as needed to keep the images sharp. This lens is really useful for indoor shooting (e.g weddings).
Have fun--and spend what you have to on the lenses. They will be with you for a lot longer than your camera body will!
