Lest Ye Think that the ONLY Thing I Ever Shoot Has Cleats for Feet...

Lest you think that the only thing I shoot nowadays has cleats for feet, well, I also shoot (in the photographic, non-lethal sense of the word) feathered friends--be they Canadian Geese, Ducks, Pigeons, Hummingbirds or Bluebirds!

Ruby-Throated Hummingbird (male)
Ruby-Throated Hummer (female)--no ruby red throat, eh?!
Eastern Bluebird (male)--helfpul fella, isn't he? He and the female were kept reallllllly busy feeding a birdhouse full of hungry bellies--I kinda understand what they were going through...
Can you see the water all beaded up on her chest? Her feather pattern is like the other female Mallards, but she is much more pale--anybody know what type of duck she is?
The humble Pigeon
Nuisance though they have become, especially in the northern states, Canadian Geese are stately and beautiful...then again, I haven't had to pick up truck-loads of leavings before my children could play at the playground....
