Emotion and Photography

I want to explore some emotions, and here to help me are some of my favorites:

If you can mix something with contentment, this would be a contented curiosity--warm sunshine, plenty of Easter Eggs, no cares and no worries beyond what kind of candy each egg holds...
And this always makes me think of that time in life when you begin to be content with who and what you are, when you seek to be the who that you were created and gifted to be--

And this photo speaks volumes about the depths of despair that we can spiral down into when there is not the maturity to know that all things pass....it had been such a lovely afternoon at the park, and she was sooo happy; but, as happens with wee ones, one minute she was throwing flowers in the air and laughing, the next, she was sobbing...this too shall pass, and pass it did in the comfort of momma's safe arms.

There is a contentment, a happiness here--with an edge of competition just creeping. It is a sibling thing, you know. IF you did not have siblings, you just might not understand how most things were sprinkled with this edge!

Yet another face of contentment--this one, a full-bellied kind. Plenty of spending money, rides with little to no lines, a chaperone who lets you eat as many blue snocones as you possibly can, and fun with friends....yummmm!
So I guess the major emotion on my mind today is that of contentment. Hmmmm. Something to think about.
